It’s really important for you to make sure you’re prepared and protected against mosquitoes and the many other dangerous disease-carrying insects out there. Here is Alfresco’s guide on how to prevent insect bites.
  1. Know when is most safe to be outside
Insects are at their most active around dawn and dusk – which explains why we get bitten so much during evening meals alfresco! If you can, avoid being outside during these times. If not, it is better to cover up as much as possible. And, of course, wear your Acqua D’Alfresco at all times! how-to-stop-mosquito-bites

  1. What to wear to prevent insect bites
Mosquitoes are attracted to dark colours such as black and navy blue, as they use vision along with scent to locate their targets. It’s best to dress in light colours such as white or pastel. As an added bonus, lighter colours will also keep you cool in the heat! Spray Acqua D’Alfresco on your clothes to make it extra effective. how to prevent insect bites

  1. Hold back on the perfume
Insects are attracted to perfume, so it’s best to stay away from it. Instead, switch over to Acqua D’Alfresco, the only delicious smelling perfumed insect repellent.
  1. Suncream first, repellent after
When applying both insect repellent and suncream, make sure to first put on your suncream, wait ten minutes for it to dry, and afterwards apply your Acqua D’Afresco. This ensures that both are at their most effective.
