What To Pack For Holiday: My Top 3 Cities
What To Pack For Holiday - London
London, although I live here, is the best city in the world for me to have a break. I don’t have to take a flight or train or boat or car, I just wander around footloose and fancy free. I don’t have to pack because my wardrobe is full of a million things I already wear in London but here’s what I suggest you pack when you visit London. Before I talk about what to pack for holiday in London, the first thing is what case. There’s only one brand I buy - Tumi, be it rucksack or trunk. The first vital thing to pack for a holiday in London is an empty extra case (preferably Tumi). Seriously, because London is full of the coolest ever shops, markets, department stores. You’ll never want to shop anywhere else once you’ve hit London. Liberty is my favourite place to take a break! 5 floors of luxury innovative ideas. Selfridges too, from designer chocolate to designer clothes, from basic pillow cases to king-size deluxe beds. So who needs to pack anything when they come to London, even the kitchen sink is in a shop somewhere near you!
What To Pack For Holiday - Moscow
Moscow is one of my favourite cities to visit, but what to pack for a holiday when you go there? A scarf, for covering your shoulders of course! Because Moscow has the most beautiful churches. Comfortable shoes, a city that needs to be wandered through, all those marvellous buildings are a knock out. And, obviously, The Kremlin and surrounds - so exciting! Pack lots of Roubles! There's a lot of great things to buy artisanal and authentic, you won’t find anywhere else in the world. And of course, don't forget your Acqua d'Alfresco Anti Bug Bite Fragrance and Alfresco Anti Bug Bite Moisturizer. There are so many beautiful parks in and around Moscow that you will want to explore, you will be glad you took Alfresco, the best mosquito repellent products, to keep you bite-free while you are enjoying your time outdoors. Our natural insect repellents have a surprisingly gorgeous fragrance and are proven to repel mosquitoes and most every other bug on the planet.
What To Pack For Holiday - Portsmouth
Portsmouth! A big port city on the south coast. It's my childhood city which I love to revisit. It’s changed a lot since I spent those weekends on a cold beach, shivering and eating banana sandwiches. Not much needed to pack but the usual comfortable shoes, because there are fabulous museums to slowly wander through, such as D-day museum. The D-Day Museum tells the story of the D-Day Landings in World War 2. I heard tales from my mum of tanks rumbling through on June 6th 1944. On the 22nd of October The Russian State Ballet is performing Swan Lake which is well worth a visit. Another place you might want to visit is the Gun Wharf, which is a big retail therapy outlet with cafes and bars. Just pack a wool cardigan, because it gets cold there!
I love travelling but packing is my least favourite thing to do, I’m bad at it, I end up sitting on my case trying to close it then only wearing two things. That's why I like just taking an empty case, and in my favourite cities...to go shopping!
